Plans for new School Building

Have School. Need Building.
We got great ideas on how to educate kids. We write up a plan, get it approved, line up teachers, students, a governing board, and a strong curriculum, and we’re on our way to becoming a successful school. Right?
Well, not quite. We’re going to need a roof and four walls, the facilities crisis could make or break our school. The struggle for facilities is a big drain on time and resources that could affect our success down the line. But the facilities problem is also driving us to break new ground.

A School Worthy of Your Support – Building on 19 Years of Excellence

● The school is ranked among the best in Ilocos Norte.

● The school has grown to include 36 faculty members-including several cum-laude teachers, spiritual and counseling staff, a doctor, a nurse and staff and research faculty.

● Continuing education and professional development activities continue to be important components of the school’s service and outreach.

● A tool for evangelism.

Make a Difference
You can make a real difference to the schooling for generations of children – just think what that will mean in years to come when you can look at the Development to the School and you can say “I helped make that happen”.

● Do you believe that schools are one of the cornerstones of life?

● Do you believe that Christian Education should be taught and cultivated in schools?

● Do you think something should be done to provide modern facilities adequate for children’s education as we begin the new century?

Proposal for Bible School

Proposed Plans for Saviour’s Bible School

OBJECTIVE
At Saviour’s Bible School, our major objective is to introduce each student to a more personal and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, with a keen awareness of the indwelling presence of the Spirit of God and to sensitively walk in obedience to Him, knowing that it is Christ in us who gives us the power and ability to obey. We want to provide an ambiance in which believers young and old alike can come to know the Lord Jesus Christ more deeply in their lives and be enabled to return to their homes, their churches, their communities, better equipped to serve as full time Christians workers or church planters. We believe that the Written Word of God is the authority of God….a revelation of Jesus Christ, complete and practical and relevant for life. It is to be studied in such a way that each student is enabled to discover in every day experience the reality of Christ’s life in and through them. Obedience to His revelation (not how much we know in theory) is the measure of how well we have understood His Word.

CURRICULUM
This three years intensive Bible training course will be taught in English by resident and guest lecturers. The normal schedule will include approximately 20 classes each week. Staff are fully committed to the attention and growth of each student.

Together, in study and daily life, we learn the disciplines of living with one common purpose, to “know Him and the power of His resurrection” not only in our heads but in our hearts and lives!

PRACTICAL TRAINING
During the course students will be challenged and encouraged to apply what they have learned in theory, through practical application in daily domestic and maintenance duties.

This includes a full day of “practical work” every week on the property, and several outreaches into the community.

1. We desire to work together with the local church as coworkers to help “equip the saints for the work of service to the building up of the body of Christ until we all attain to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ”.
2. We desire to assist believers in developing a practical working knowledge of the written Word having its origin in a meaningful relationship with the living Word, Jesus Christ.
3. We desire to help believers discover in daily experience the reality of the Christian life at work, in the home and in social activities. The Christian life is Christ’s life! He wants to live that life in and through us wherever we are!

Plans for Retreat Centre

Proposed Plans For Saviour’s Retreat Centre

Reason for Being
Over the years we have witnessed many pastors who have left the ministries due to “burn out” caused by financial burden, lack of encouragement and many other reasons which could have been addressed.

Objectives
To help exhausted, discouraged and hurting people, missionaries, full-time Christian workers, pastors, elders, deacons and others, to be restored physically, spiritually and emotionally; to strengthen marriages and families according to biblical standards, and to educate, facilitate, and motivate Christians to evangelism.

Location
The proposed retreat centre will be located in a rural setting on the beach front of Ilocos Norte. Access from the Laoag Airport and Laoag City Proper is simple and direct.

The retreat centre plans to acquire 10,000 sq. meters of beach property in Ilocos Norte. About 400 square meters will be used for a “Live-in” Bible School with dormitory and lecture rooms.

Facilities
The proposed retreat centre will have sleeping facilities for 100-120 people, studio, family chalet, and dormitory style lodging, 2 seminar halls which will accommodate up to 400 people, meeting rooms, prayer huts, dinning room, kitchen, recreation room, gym, security and other facilities as the need arises.

The grounds of the Centre are suitable for outdoor use for barbeques, picnics, meetings etc, weather permitting.

Cost
Fees for use of the proposed retreat centre will be established on a cost recovery basis.

Our primary purpose is to care for missionaries, pastors, and full time workers who need rest, rebuilding and encouragement to continue serving our Lord.

The retreat centre will make available free of charge to Missionaries and full time commended workers who do not have the means to pay for their much needed stay.

Services
The following services are available at the Retreat Centre:

“Room and Board” type services including accommodations, three meals a day and snacks, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Seminar/meeting services include use of our seminar rooms, meals and snacks, as required. Overheads, LCD projectors, visualizes, whiteboards, musical instruments, PA systems will be available.

The retreat centre will also be available on a “dedicated use” basis, subject to availability.

Seminar and meeting facilities can be used by elders/deacons boards, various local church boards and committees as well as Para-church organizations.

Why should a pastor take a leave?
Renewal leaves for pastors are good for the pastor, good for the congregation, good for the Church. Pastors stay longer and serve with greater enthusiasm if their ministry includes opportunities to learn and exposure to other ministries. They experience spiritual refreshment, new vision, strengthened skills and wider perspectives. When the pastor returns, the congregation experiences better pastoral leadership and longer service. A leave is not reward for past service, but an investment in future ministry.
